The Four B’s

Iowa Heartland partners with the communities of Black Hawk, Bremer, Buchanan and Butler counties in our mission to help people build or improve a place that they can call home. We develop and provide multiple programs and education resources which are tailored specifically for the local challenges that residents of these counties face.

Homes

We offer homebuyer programs for new construction and refurbished family homes through which the dream of stable and affordable housing can become a reality for local families in need.

In addition to new construction, we also provide critical repairs to existing homes based on individual income and need.

Neighborhoods

Iowa Heartland works in partnership with community members and organizations to not just build or improve individual homes but to transform and revitalize whole neighborhoods. We are currently engaged in the preservation and revitalization of three different neighborhoods. Church Row, Walnut, and the Irving Square communities.
