Sulyntha is a single mother of two children and is excited to have a stable place to live rather than moving from place to place. Sulyntha is part of the Framing Hope Program, a dual-enrollment program with the House of Hope and Iowa Heartland Habitat. She said, "Before House of Hope, I stayed with an unhealthy family. I had to go my separate ways to find peace and freedom." She's now much happier and more hopeful for the future. "I am more proud of myself than before and excited about all the progress I will make and have already made." she said. Through her participation in the Framing Hope Program, Sulyntha has learned time-management, budgeting, and the importance of surrounding yourself with positive, empowering people. Sulyntha just chose the lot that her home will be built on in the Walnut Nieghborhood!
